Ausable Chasm offers 25 miles of mountain bike trails for people of all abilities, and it’s all waiting for you at the Ausable Chasm Campground and Recreation Center. Our easy beginner and intermediate loops are double wide trails, perfect for riding side-by-side with family and friends. Our single track, advanced loop features steeper hills and narrow paths through many miles of unspoiled forest.
Expert riders can jump from our trail network to the Wickham Marsh State trails, which lead riders through the Marsh to Lake Champlain.

Have you or your kids ever wanted to try mountain bike racing? Are you an experienced racer looking for a new fun race series? Check out Chasm Riders, our mountain bike race series running every Sunday at 10am.
With three age and ability divisions, this series encourages anyone with a bike to come out and race.
Weekly races are free with a day, season or camping pass. Super Sunday Races (5/27, 6/17, 7/15, 8/19, 9/16 and 10/7) include a $5 fee for race registration and raffle ticket with a pass. Super Sunday Races feature a raffle for all racers with some fantastic prizes!
Beginners are welcome and kids under 18 always race for free. Our complimentary bike coaches are on hand for every race to show kids the course, give them some tips and cheer them on.
