With a mix of beginner-friendly terrain and more advanced routes perched above the Ausable River, our climbing experience delivers the perfect blend of excitement, achievement, and unforgettable Adirondack scenery.

What You’ll Experience

• A choose-your-challenge adventure: Whether it’s your very first climb or you already love being on the wall, we offer routes for every comfort level—from easy, confidence-building slabs to more vertical challenges overlooking the river.
• Expert guidance: Our trained climbing guides set the ropes, help you fit your gear, teach proper technique, and support you every step of the way. Beginners will learn the basics, while experienced climbers can push their limits on more advanced terrain.
• Stunning views: Climb beside the ancient rock formations of the Chasm, with the Ausable River flowing far below—an Adirondack setting you won’t find anywhere else.

• 1.5-Hour Climb: A perfect introduction for beginners, families, and anyone who wants a fun, approachable experience.
• 3-Hour Climb: Extra time to learn fundamentals, develop technique, and climb as much as your arms can handle—ideal for teens, adventurous families, and returning climbers.

• Cost: $75 per person + $19.95 adult admission to Ausable Chasm required
• Duration: 1.5 hours
• Ages: Climbers must be 13+ (guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
• Weight & fit: Maximum 250 lbs.; harnesses must fit a waist size up to 54". Guests near limits may be asked for a discreet weigh-in for safety.
• All gear provided: Harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes, ropes, and belay systems inspected to industry standards.
• Small-group sessions: Designed so every participant gets ample climbing time and personal guidance.

What to Bring

• Closed-toe shoes with good traction (hiking or athletic shoes work great)
• Comfortable, flexible outdoor clothing
• Water and sunscreen
• Hair ties for long hair (safety + convenience!)
