Rappelling in the Adirondack Mountains has never been so much fun!

Available for beginners and experienced adventurists alike, rappelling provides a unique experience never before offered at Ausable Chasm. The tour starts with a short 30-foot rappel and 150-foot tyrolean, or cable, traverse, finishing with an 80-foot rappel and 200-foot traverse, where you will be 130 feet above the Ausable River. The tyrolean traverse does require the use of upper body strength to pull yourself across the cable, so it is recommended that participants are physically fit.

• $75 per person (adult admission required)

• Children age 13 and up are welcome, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Weight restrictions are strictly enforced for safety – minimum 60 lbs. and maximum 250 lbs (customers close to limits may be required to complete a discreet weigh-in)
